  • We credit hard work, a dedicated staff, and a willingness to listen to our customers as key ingredients to our future, consequently we remain committed to custom building all of our facilities.

    Our office Staff

In most companies there are people behind the scenes who make great contributions in producing a product, we are no exception. If you were to visit our offices in New Holland, PA you would likely meet Michelle Buzzard (left) and Amy Hackman (right).

Michelle has been with King Construction for sixteen years and is the head of our Accounting Department. She is the mother of two young adult sons.

Amy joined our staff in March 2004 is a graduate of Garden Spot High School in New Holland, PA and if you call our offices you will likely have the good fortune of talking with her. To be honest with you, I'm not sure we could function without either one of them!. (Shhhh, don't tell them I said that!)

James Fisher is our office manager and has headed up the engineering department since 1992.....

.....in addition to keeping the engineering work flow 'current' he also is responsible for inventory control and job costing....in other words he's a very busy guy! He is a real asset to King Construction and helps to keep us on the cutting edge with new ideas and designs. He is married and has two children.

The Kings Believe it or not we actually were able to get John and Merv King to sit still long enough so we could take a few pictures...

The King brothers started the company in the late 1970s...those were the days when both were out in the field on a daily basis doing all the construction work themselves. As the business grew it was necessary for John and Merv to do the 'heavy lifting' from their offices. If you should call and want to talk to them and are told that they not in, it could very well be that they felt a need to get their hands dirty and decided to spend the day with a crew driving nails or whatever they might be doing at the time.

    Our Representatives

DAN NISSLEY has been with King Construction since 1985 and covers the Mid-Atlantic states from New Jersey to Virginia, he has been in sales for most of his adult life. (Please don't hold that against him). His specialty is sales/design of all kinds of equestrian facilities. He is married with two adult kids..daughter 35 and son 37. Both his son Darin and daughter Tanya have had the nerve to make a grandfather out of him...imagine that! Darin and his wife Ramona are the parents of Victoria Rose, Madilyn Ruth and Jacob Daniel. "Tori" being the oldest (12 yrs) is well on her way to becoming president! Tanya and her husband Mike are the parents of Benjamin Michael and Elijah David, the only complaint his father and grandfather had was that Benjamin chose to arrive in the middle of a Monday Night Football game! Dan says all five have grabbed a hold of his heart and haven't let go

GEORGIA HICKEY joined the King Construction team in 2001 as an equine facilities designer and sales representative for New York State and southern New England. Her territory now includes northern New Jersey. Her experience includes the layout and design for a variety of horse facilities, including barns, arenas, pastures, paddocks and special function areas, and several of her King project designs have received awards from a national trade association. She is a long-time breeder and exhibitor of show horses, and has earned a World Championship, several National Top Ten rankings, several Top Ten World Championship and Quarter Horse Congress awards, a Supreme Champion designation and numerous Superior event and state high-point awards. Georgia was the founder and former director of the Equine Studies program at Cazenovia College in upstate New York, and she is a former national director for the Palomino Horse Breeders of America.

Georgia and her husband Jerry have three horses (down from 11) and two active Jack Russell Terriers. They live just outside Litchfield, in the heart of the Connecticut horse country.

Dean Hoover has been a key addition to King Construction...joining our sales/design team in the Spring of 2003 and also works in the Mid-Atlantic states from New Jersey to Virginia. He lives south of Annville, PA in Lebanon County. He is married to Mary Ann and they have a daughter Maria and a son Tyler.

Dean designs beautiful equestrian facilities and can answer your questions and assist you in making your building concepts become reality...working closely with you to be sure that your dream barn is both functional and cost effective.
